Ever since moving into our house in the country, I've been looking forward to the first snow fall. Well, today we got it! And it is beautiful. But I can't really enjoy it because the only thing thats on my mind right now is my brother, Jeffrey.

After being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a few weeks ago, he passed Saturday evening, January 16. While devastating to us, I have no doubt that there was a big celebration in heaven when he walked in, and it helps to know that one day we will see him again.

Jeffrey was definitely one-of-a-kind. I have a lot I want to say about who he was as a person and a brother, but its just too fresh right now - It will have to wait for another post. I can't believe he's gone - It is way too soon; we will miss him tremendously.
